Bridge Laborers & General Laborers $25-$29/hr- R.S. Audley Inc. has full-time openings for general construction laborers. This role is essential in providing support and assistance in major highway, site work, and bridge projects.
Experienced Bridge Carpenters $35-$40/hr – R.S. Audley Inc. is looking for experienced bridge carpenters. Carpenter applicants must have proven skills in working with forms, concrete and rebar and can work in all weather conditions.
Pile Driver/Welder – A Pile Driver/Welder is an integral part of a small group of highly skilled individuals that install driven and drilled piles, excavation support structures, and cofferdams. Daily activities include working with cranes, pile driving equipment, drilling equipment, excavators, and other heavy equipment. Daily activities also include working with welding and cutting equipment and small tools.
Pipe Foreman – A Pipe Foreman is responsible for overseeing and managing the installation of stormwater drainage systems, water lines, sewer lines and other subsurface structures. General knowledge of excavation methods, shoring, and water management are essential. This role involves directing and managing a crew of construction workers, equipment and subcontractors. This individual is responsible for enforcing the R.S. Audley, Inc.’s safety standards as well as policies and procedures. This role is essential in ensuring that site work is meeting the standards set by the project plans as well as ensuring the work being completed stays on target for completion.
Grade Foreman – A Grade Foreman is a managerial position responsible for overseeing the excavation and placement of embankment and select materials. This includes preliminary layout in accordance with plans and specifications, management and maintenance of grades and knowledge of working with multiple materials in varying weather conditions with multiple machine types. This individual is responsible for directing and managing all on-site construction workers, subcontractors, and equipment. This individual is also responsible for enforcing the R.S. Audley, Inc.’s safety standards as well as policies and procedures. This role is essential in ensuring that the project site work is meeting the standards set by the project plans as well as ensuring the work being completed stays on target and budget for completion.
Deisel Mechanic
- Repairs, maintenance, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and diesel systems.
- Completes work orders and documents maintenance history with detail and accuracy in a timely manner.
- Repair and preventative maintenance on power tools used on a construction site.
- Communicates with Maintenance Manager regarding equipment damage.
- Requests parts as necessary to complete repairs and maintenance of equipment.
- Conducts heavy equipment functionality, use, and safety tests.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Experience in examining, questioning, evaluating and reporting on the performance of all heavy equipment
- Highly developed mechanical background including work with various construction or heavy machinery, specifically repairing hydraulics, electric systems, and diesel engines.
- Extensive knowledge of construction or heavy equipment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Trade school certificate or equivalent experience preferred.
- Valid medical card and/or ability to pass DOT physical exam in order to obtain medical card. CDL preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience repairing and maintaining construction or heavy equipment or vehicles as a diesel mechanic.
- Valid driver’s license.
